Job summary

Solides Design + Build, a rapid-growing General Contractor based in Jakarta, seeks a Marketing Manager to drive strategy for acquiring new construction projects and manage negotiations through to contract signing. You will build relationships with developers, architects, and business owners, collaborating with management to meet revenue targets.

You will lead business development activities, qualify tenders, and coordinate bid proposals while researching market trends and competitors to identify

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in Sales/Marketing or Business Development in construction.
• Diploma D3 or higher education required.
• Fluency in Mandarin, Korean, and/or Japanese preferred for foreign clients.
• Proven track record in winning tenders or large-value contracts.
• Extensive network within contractor/project industry.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Commission system tied to contract value/margin.
• Supportive, dynamic work environment with regular team gatherings and field allowances.

Job description

As Marketing Manager, you will lead the strategy for acquiring new construction projects, build relationships with prospective clients (developers, architects, and business owners), and manage the negotiation cycle through to contract signing. This is a strategic position working directly with management to ensure the company achieves its revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, plan, and execute business development strategy to secure new construction projects
• Build and maintain a strong network with prospective clients, particularly Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) companies or foreign investors
• Lead the pre-tender qualification process, preparation of bid proposals, and client presentations
• Conduct market research to analyse construction industry trends, competitors, and potential project opportunities

Qualification

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in Sales/Marketing or Business Development in the General Contractor / Construction industry
• Educational background minimum Diploma D3 or higher
• Preferred: fluency in Mandarin, Korean, and/or Japanese to negotiate with foreign clients (FDI)
• Proven track record in winning tenders or securing large-value project contracts
• Extensive network within the contractor / project industry
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
