Job summary

Marine Power System Indonesia is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive new business and manage relationships with shipyards, shipowners, vessel operators, and marine companies across Indonesia.

You will identify opportunities, tailor technical and commercial solutions, and follow through with quotations and negotiations to secure orders. The role requires travel, proactive account development, and close collaboration with engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum SMA/SMK/Diploma or equivalent
• Technical/engineering background is preferred; Bachelor's degree is an advantage but not mandatory
• 2+ years of Sales / Business Development experience
• Experience selling products, equipment, or solutions to shipyards/shipowners/vessel operators/m marine companies would be highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities with shipyards, shipowners, vessel operators, and marine companies
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and new customers
• Conduct regular customer visits and identify upcoming projects and market opportunities
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical and commercial solutions
• Prepare and follow up quotations, proposals, and commercial negotiations through order confirmation
• Develop and manage both existing accounts and self-developed customers
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular project updates
• Coordinate closely with technical and management teams to support customers and projects
