Job summary

Pengiklan Anonim is seeking an experienced HSE professional to oversee end-to-end marine operations in Balikpapan. You will monitor loading rates, fuel usage, vessel safety, and ensure compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM, and SMS documentation.

Responsibilities include developing SOPs, conducting risk assessments (HAZID/HIRAC), coordinating with port authorities, leading toolbox talks, coaching crew, and delivering periodic safety and performance reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies required.
  • Minimum 5 years in HSE field (Shipping industries).
  • Knowledge of SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code.
  • Strong HAZID and HIRAC knowledge.
  • Experience with Safety Management Systems.
  • Able to ensure compliance with Maritime SOPs and heavy equipment safety procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ahli K3 Umum certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end transshipment operations and vessel safety.
  • Monitor loading rates, cycle times, and targets to plan
  • Track fuel, spares, consumables, and running hours for efficiency.
  • Develop, implement and enforce SOPs and marine safety policies.
  • Perform regular inspections to ensure IMO/SOLAS/MARPOL/ISM compliance.
  • Maintain SMS documentation and safety records (logs, PTW, reports).
  • Coordinate with port authorities and maritime agencies as needed.
  • Lead toolbox talks, permit-to-work, and risk assessments.
  • Coach crew to ensure SOP adherence and strong safety culture.
  • Prepare periodic reports on performance, safety and compliance.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies (Pelayaran/Ahli Nautika)
