HAP Indonesia seeks a Senior Marine Engineer to lead design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of marine systems for onshore LNG facilities. The Senior Marine Engineer will play a key role in the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of marine systems related to onshore LNG facilities, ensuring project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements are met.
Key responsibilities
Design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of marine systems related to onshore LNG facilities
FEED and EPC engineering activities related to marine systems design, including mooring, piping, structural, and offshore support systems for LNG projects
Marine engineering design involved with all project phases from FEED to detailed engineering, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning
Project management and QC controls
Marine safety systems, stability analysis, and classification society requirements
HAZOP, SIL, and safety studies related to marine systems, including design rules for safety and control systems
About you
Minimum of 12 years of hands-on experience in marine engineering within the Oil & Gas or Power Plant industries
Extensive experience in FEED and EPC engineering activities related to marine systems design
Proficient knowledge and working experience of marine engineering design involved with all project phases from FEED to detailed engineering, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning
Knowledge and working experience with marine safety systems, stability analysis, and classification society requirements
Familiarity with HAZOP, SIL, and safety studies related to marine systems, including design rules for safety and control systems
Knowledge and experience with marine design and calculation software
Familiarity with relevant standards and codes such as IMO, IEC, ISO, API, and classification society rules
Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Excellent in English, both spoken and written
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related fields
