PT FHG TEKSTIL INDONESIA is seeking a skilled Mandarin Translator to join our Demak, Central Java team. You will translate documents and interpret during meetings to support our Chinese-speaking clients and partners in our international operations.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Mandarin (spoken) is required; reading/writing Mandarin is prioritized.
• Fluency in English is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a talented Mandarin Translator to join our team at PT FHG TEKSTIL INDONESIA'. As a Mandarin Translator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating seamless communication between our company and our Chinese-speaking clients and partners. This is a full-time position based in Demak, Central Java.

What you'll be doing

• Providing accurate and timely translations of a wide range of documents, including contracts, correspondence, reports, and presentations from Mandarin to Indonesian and vice versa (Comprehension in English is a plus)
• Interpreting spoken Mandarin during meetings, negotiations, and other business interactions
• Ensuring cultural nuances and context are accurately conveyed in all translations and interpretations
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand the specific requirements and linguistic needs of each project
• Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and attention to detail in all your work
• Continuously learning and staying up-to-date with industry terminology and best practices in translation and interpretation

What we're looking for

• Fluency in Mandarin verbal communication skills (Fluency in writing and reading Mandarin are being priority)
• Fluency in Speaking English is a plus
• At least 2 years of professional experience as a Mandarin translator or interpreter
• Strong research and problem-solving skills to handle complex terminology and content
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing high-quality, accurate translations
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Having HSK certificate is a plus
• Professional looking and having good attitude
