Job summary

PT Virtue Dragon Nickel Industry, headquartered in Jakarta, is seeking a purchasing professional to support daily procurement activities and coordinate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, Mandarin fluency, and at least 1 year of experience in purchasing or procurement.

The candidate will manage documents, quotes, and purchase orders while collaborating with internal departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) with HSK 4–5 or equivalent preferred.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experienced in handling purchasing documents, quotations, purchase orders, and supplier coordination.
• Good communication, negotiation, and administrative skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure.
• Able to coordinate effectively with Mandarin-speaking suppliers, vendors, and internal departments.
• Willing to work in Jakarta / site area, if required.

Responsibilities

• Support daily purchasing and procurement activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments regarding purchasing requirements.
• Prepare and maintain purchasing documents, quotations, and purchase orders.
• Communicate and coordinate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.
• Monitor purchase orders, delivery status, and supplier follow-up.
• Assist in comparing quotations and preparing purchasing reports.
• Perform other administrative tasks related to the Purchasing Department.
