The ideal candidate communicates fluently in Mandarin and English, has 2–5 years in purchasing or supply chain, and can analyze costs and supplier performance while leveraging ERP and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Mandarin fluency for supplier negotiations and liaison with international partners.
• 2–5 years in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain, preferably in manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Experience in supplier evaluation, selection, negotiation, and relationship management.
• Solid understanding of industrial materials, components, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong cost, quality, and delivery analytics to inform purchasing decisions.
• Excellent negotiation skills with focus on cost savings without compromising quality.
• Meticulous attention to order processing, contracts, and documentation.
• Proficient in procurement software, ERP systems, and MS Office.
• Professional procurement certification (APICS or equivalent) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
• Conduct market research to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Negotiate contracts and purchase agreements with suppliers.
• Process purchase orders and manage procurement documentation.
• Monitor supplier performance via regular communication and metrics.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and logistics for timely delivery.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams.
• Communicate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers to facilitate negotiations.
• Resolve procurement issues and discrepancies with suppliers promptly.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and prepare procurement reports.
