Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Finance, Accounting & Tax (FAT) Manager to lead finance, accounting, taxation, and financial governance for a major Indonesian mining group. This on-site role in Jakarta Utara collaborates with regional HQ to ensure regulatory compliance and robust financial reporting across cross-border operations.

The role reports to senior leadership, guiding budgeting, cash flow, audits, and tax planning while engaging with banks, auditors, and government authorities to sustain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of professional experience across Finance, Accounting and Tax functions, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in mining, oil & gas, commodity trading, logistics, or other capital-intensive industries preferred.
• Strong expertise in Indonesian taxation, corporate income tax, withholding tax, financial reporting, budgeting, treasury management, cost accounting, and internal controls.
• Experience managing external audits, tax audits, financial compliance, and cross-functional finance operations.
• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English for regional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance, accounting, bookkeeping, treasury, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate corporate tax planning, reporting, and audits under Indonesian regulations.
• Oversee AR/AP, banking, cash flow, and cost control to maintain financial health.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, monthly reports, variances, and strategic recommendations.
• Ensure timely statutory financial statements and management reports per local and corporate standards.
• Collaborate with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and authorities on financial matters.
• Maintain strong internal controls and improve financial processes and governance.
