Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Finance, Accounting & Tax (FAT) Manager to lead the finance, accounting, taxation and governance functions for a major Indonesian mining group. The role ensures regulatory compliance, accurate financial reporting, budgeting and audit readiness while coordinating with regional headquarters.

The position requires extensive experience in finance, strong Indonesian tax expertise, and fluency in Mandarin and English to support cross-border coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• 8–10 years of experience across Finance, Accounting, and Tax with 5+ in leadership.
• Experience in mining/oil & gas or capital-intensive industries preferred.
• Strong Indonesian tax, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
• Experience with external audits and cross-functional finance operations.
• Demonstrated leadership, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English for regional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance, accounting, treasury, tax, and financial reporting activities.
• Manage corporate tax planning, reporting, compliance, and audits.
• Oversee AR, AP, banking, cash flow, and cost controls.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, monthly management reports, and variance analysis.
• Ensure timely statutory financial statements and reports.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax authorities, and consultants.
• Maintain strong internal controls and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with regional and international HQ for cross-border reporting.
• Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis.
