Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Finance, Accounting & Tax (FAT) Manager to lead on-site financial governance in Jakarta Utara, Indonesia. You will oversee finance, accounting, taxation, budgeting, cash flow, and reporting while ensuring compliance with Indonesian regulations and multinational standards.

You will work closely with local leadership and regional HQ to optimize controls, cross-border reporting, and overall financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• 8–10 years of professional experience across Finance, Accounting, and Tax, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
• Mining, oil & gas, commodity trading, logistics, or capital-intensive industries preferred.
• Strong expertise in Indonesian taxation, corporate income tax, withholding tax, budgeting, treasury, cost accounting, and internal controls.
• Experience managing external audits, tax audits, and cross-functional finance operations.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and organizational skills; detail-oriented.
• Proficient in Mandarin Chinese and English for regional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee finance, accounting, bookkeeping, treasury, and financial reporting activities to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Manage corporate tax planning, reporting, compliance, and coordinate external tax audits per Indonesian regulations.
• Supervise AR, AP, banking, cash flow, and cost control initiatives to maintain healthy financial performance.
• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, monthly management reports, variance analysis, and strategic recommendations.
• Ensure timely statutory financial statements and management reporting per local standards and corporate requirements.
• Coordinate with banks, external auditors, tax consultants, and authorities on financial and tax matters.
• Maintain internal controls and continuously improve financial processes and governance.
• Collaborate with regional and international HQ to ensure seamless cross-border reporting and budgeting.
• Support business decisions with financial analysis, risk assessment, and performance monitoring.
