MatchaTalent in Jakarta Utara, Indonesia is looking for a Finance, Accounting & Tax (FAT) Manager to lead the organization’s finance, accounting, taxation, and financial governance functions while ensuring full compliance with Indonesian regulations and multinational reporting standards.

The role oversees budgeting, cash flow, financial reporting, and audit readiness, collaborating with local leadership and regional HQ to strengthen internal controls and support growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• 8–10 years of professional experience across Finance, Accounting and Tax functions, including at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
• Experience in mining/oil & gas, commodity trading, logistics or other capital-intensive industries is highly preferred.
• Strong expertise in Indonesian taxation, corporate income tax, withholding tax, financial reporting, budgeting, treasury management, cost accounting and internal controls.
• Experience managing external audits, tax audits, financial compliance, and cross-functional finance operations.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English is required to support communication with regional HQ.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all finance, accounting, bookkeeping, treasury, and financial reporting activities to ensure accuracy, transparency, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage corporate tax planning, tax reporting, tax compliance, and coordinate all external tax audits.
• Supervise AR/AP, banking activities, cash flow management, and cost control initiatives.
• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, monthly management reports, variance analysis, and strategic financial recommendations.
• Ensure timely preparation of statutory financial statements and management reports per local standards and corporate reporting.
• Coordinate with banks, external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
• Maintain strong internal controls and continuously improve financial processes and governance.
• Collaborate with regional and international HQ to ensure seamless cross-border reporting and budgeting.
• Support business decision-making through financial analysis and risk assessment.
