Job summary

Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk is seeking a Business Improvement Supervisor (Mandarin Speaker) to support cross-functional coordination, financial and operational performance monitoring, risk management, and JV governance across Merdeka Group’s mining and energy operations.

This role will provide data-driven insights and improvement recommendations to strengthen governance, internal controls, and business development initiatives with Mandarin and English communication requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis, internal audit, project financing, or business development.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English with ability to communicate with Chinese JV partners.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for senior management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to monitor business performance and resolve issues.
• Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, due diligence, and business case evaluations.
• Support internal control assessments and risk reviews; identify gaps and improvements.
• Liaise with JV and strategic partners to align priorities and governance standards.
• Prepare reports on business improvement, financial performance, and risk assessments.
