Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk is seeking a Business Improvement Supervisor (Mandarin Speaker) to support cross-functional coordination, financial and operational performance monitoring, risk management, and JV governance across Merdeka Group’s mining and energy operations.

This role will provide data-driven insights and improvement recommendations to strengthen governance, internal controls, and business development initiatives with Mandarin and English communication requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis, internal audit, project financing, or business development.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English with ability to communicate with Chinese JV partners.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for senior management.

Business Improvement Supervisor (Mandarin Speaker)

Job Summary
We are looking for a Business Improvement Supervisor to support cross-functional coordination, financial and operational performance monitoring, risk management, and business development initiatives across Merdeka Group’s mining and energy operations, including joint venture (JV) partnerships. This role will provide data-driven insights and improvement recommendations to strengthen business performance, governance, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Finance, Technical, HSE, and Legal & Compliance, to monitor business performance and resolve critical issues.

Conduct financial analysis, budget and cost monitoring, due diligence, and business case evaluations to support business development, project financing, and investment decisions.

Support internal control assessments and risk reviews, identify control gaps, and recommend process improvements to strengthen governance and compliance.

Liaise with JV and strategic partners to align business priorities, operational performance, and governance standards.

Prepare and coordinate reports on business improvement, JV governance, financial performance, and risk assessments for management review.

Provide analytical insights and improvement recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis, internal audit, project financing, or business development, preferably in the mining, energy, or heavy industry sectors.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Experience in cross-functional coordination, stakeholder management, and preferably joint venture (JV) governance.

Fluent in Mandarin and English, with the ability to communicate directly with Chinese JV partners and stakeholders.

Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to deliver insights and recommendations to senior management.
