Job summary

PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk is seeking a Business Process Governance Officer to oversee governance activities, document management, and internal controls across the organization. You will help identify process gaps, assess risks, and implement practical improvements while ensuring policy compliance and clear communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (Accounting, Finance, Management, IT, or Economics).
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in external audit, internal control, risk management, governance or compliance; Big 4 preferred.
• Strong understanding of business processes and ability to identify gaps and risks.
• Experience in policy and SOP creation, system implementation and change management.
• Exposure to cross-functional areas such as Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Legal, and Production.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and compliance standards like SOX.
• Professional level English; Mandarin preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support design, documentation and optimization of business processes and internal controls.
• Support monitoring of internal controls and control changes for compliance.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure process alignment and effective control implementation.
• Support development and enhancement of Policies & Procedures and communicate with stakeholders.
• Monitor implementation of approved documentation and follow up on outstanding actions.
• Assist in preparation of periodic compliance reports for management.
• Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives on a task force basis.
