Job summary

PT Glory Ocean Logistics is seeking an Import Export Staff – Mandarin Speaker to join our team in South Jakarta. This full-time, work-from-office position handles import/export shipments, coordinates with customers, vendors, and overseas partners, and ensures all documentation is completed accurately and on time.

The role requires fluent Mandarin, 2–3 years in Import/Export operations, and familiarity with freight forwarding or logistics environments.

Qualifications

Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written).
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Import/Export operations.
Experience in a freight forwarding or logistics company preferred.
Understanding of import/export procedures and shipping documentation.

Responsibilities

Handle daily import and export shipments.
Prepare and check shipping documents (Bill of Lading, invoice, packing list, and other import/export documents).
Coordinate with shipping lines, agents, vendors, customs, and customers.
Monitor shipment progress from booking until completion.
Provide shipment updates to customers and overseas partners.
Communicate with Chinese customers and partners in Mandarin.
Check the accuracy and completeness of shipping documents.
Follow up on shipment issues, delays, and documentation problems.
Maintain accurate shipment records and operational data.
Coordinate with internal teams regarding shipment requirements.
Assist in preparing quotations and shipment cost information when required.
