PT Glory Ocean Logistics Indonesia is seeking a Finance Manager – Mandarin Speaker in South Jakarta. This leadership role oversees financial reporting, cash flow, budgeting, tax coordination, and internal controls, with Mandarin communication to headquarters and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and at least five years in finance, preferably with supervisory experience in logistics or related sectors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, with supervisory experience.
• Experience in logistics, freight forwarding or related industries is advantageous.
• Proficient Mandarin communication, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily finance and accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, and banking.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor cash flow, bank balances and working capital.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and financial analysis for management.
• Coordinate tax reporting and liaise with external consultants.
• Supervise and support the finance team; ensure internal controls.

About the Role

We are looking for a Finance Manager – Mandarin Speaker to join our team in South Jakarta.

This role will be responsible for managing the company’s finance and accounting activities, including financial reporting, cash flow, budgeting, tax coordination, banking transactions, and internal financial controls.

The Finance Manager will also communicate regularly with our headquarters and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, making Mandarin communication skills an important requirement for this position.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily finance and accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank transactions

Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports

Monitor company cash flow, bank balances, and working capital

Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis for management

Review financial reconciliations and ensure accurate accounting records

Coordinate tax reporting and compliance with external tax consultants

Coordinate with external auditors and other professional advisors when required

Communicate financial information and reports with headquarters and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders

Develop and maintain finance policies, procedures, and internal controls

Review payment requests and supporting documents

Monitor company expenses and financial performance

Supervise and support finance team members

Support management in financial and operational decision-making

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, with supervisory or managerial experience preferred

Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, trading, import-export, or related industries is an advantage

Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin, both spoken and written

Good understanding of Indonesian accounting standards and taxation

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cash flow management, budgeting, and reconciliation

Familiar with accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Experience handling multi-currency and international transactions is an advantage

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently
