Job summary

PT Puji Lestari PURNAMA is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the central accounting team, oversee AP, AR, tax, and cost accounting, and ensure accurate monthly and annual financial statements. The role also drives budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and cross-branch consolidation while maintaining strong internal controls and tax compliance.

Based at the head office in Tangerang, you will coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and banking partners, and you will report to senior management

Qualifications

• Minimum S1 degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Accounting & Finance.
• Minimum 5 years as Manager Accounting or equivalent position with team leadership responsibility.
• Proficient in PSAK, accounting principles, and financial reporting systems.
• Deep understanding of VAT, Income Tax and Corporate Income Tax regulations.
• Proficient in ERP/Accounting Software such as SAP, Oracle, Accurate, or Zahir.
• Advanced Ms. Excel skills including Pivot, Vlookup, and data analysis.
• Experience leading central and branch accounting teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the central Accounting team (AP, AR, Tax, cost).
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements (IS, BS, CF).
• Analyze budget variances and provide management recommendations.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring.
• Oversee branch accounting for uniform procedures and formats.
• Consolidate branch reports and ensure timely closings and tax compliance.
• Ensure VAT and Corporate Income Tax compliance and reporting.
• Develop internal controls and financial policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors and bankers.
• Present financial data to the Board for strategic decisions.

Job description

Lead, manage, and develop the central Accounting team covering AP, AR, Tax, and Cost Accounting functions. Responsible for task allocation, performance evaluation, and team competency development. Full responsibility for monthly and annual financial statement preparation including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow. Conduct budget variance analysis against actuals and provide recommendations to management. Manage budget planning, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring to ensure financial stability and liquidity. Oversee branch accounting functions to ensure uniform application of standard operating procedures, bookkeeping systems, and reporting formats across all branches. Consolidate branch financial reports, monitor closing timeliness, tax compliance, and provide coaching to branch accounting teams. Ensure company tax obligations are met including VAT, Income Tax (21/23/4(2)), and Corporate Income Tax with accurate and timely reporting and payment. Develop, evaluate, and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal control systems to maintain data accuracy and minimize risk. Act as the primary liaison with external auditors, tax consultants, and banking institutions. Coordinate with other departments including Purchasing, Sales, and HR on financial data and requirements. Present financial data and reports to the Board as a basis for strategic decision-making.

About you

Minimum S1 degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum 10 years of experience in Accounting & Finance

Minimum 5 years as Manager Accounting or equivalent position with team leadership responsibility

Proficient in PSAK, accounting principles, and financial reporting systems

Deep understanding of VAT, Income Tax (21/23/4(2)), and Corporate Income Tax regulations

Experience leading central and branch accounting teams

Ability to develop SOPs, internal control systems, and process improvements

Experience with internal and external audit processes and financial statement consolidation

Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities

Detail-oriented, meticulous, and high integrity

Strong communication and presentation skills for coordination with Board and cross-functional departments

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Tax Brevet A & B certification required

CPA, CA, or Brevet C certification is an advantage

English language proficiency (spoken and written) for reporting and communication with foreign principals/auditors is an advantage

Willing to travel to branches and be based at Head Office in Tangerang
