PT Esha Parama Teknologi is seeking an experienced Finance, Accounting & Tax Manager to lead financial operations, budgeting, tax compliance, and strategic planning in Jakarta. We are seeking an experienced Finance, Accounting & Tax Manager to lead financial operations, reporting, planning, and tax compliance. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing cash flow, strengthening internal controls, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.
The successful candidate will oversee the finance and accounting team, review its work, and coordinate with management, external auditors, tax consultants, and other stakeholders.
Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (SAK/PSAK) and company reporting requirements.
Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
Review journal entries, accruals, provisions, depreciation schedules, and account reconciliations prepared by the team.
Present financial results, budget variances, and key performance insights to senior management and the board, as required.
Ensure consistent accounting practices and maintain complete supporting documentation.
Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasts in collaboration with department heads.
Develop cash flow projections, working capital plans, and financial models to support business planning.
Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts, investigate significant variances, and recommend corrective actions.
Provide profitability analysis and cost-control recommendations to management.
Evaluate investment proposals and business cases to support strategic decisions.
Oversee compliance with applicable Indonesian tax obligations, including PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 4(2), PPh 25/29, and PPN.
Review tax calculations, reconciliations, payments, and filings prepared by the team to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.
Oversee periodic and annual tax reporting through Coretax DJP and other applicable systems.
Coordinate the preparation, review, and internal approval of the annual corporate income tax return (SPT Tahunan Badan).
Lead the company’s response to tax audits, reviews, objections, and correspondence with DJP, working with external tax consultants as needed.
Monitor regulatory changes and coordinate necessary updates to internal processes.
Coordinate with HR and payroll teams to ensure accurate reconciliation and timely payment of BPJS Kesehatan and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan obligations.
Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, and banking relationships.
Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable to support collections, timely payments, and effective working capital management.
Review and approve payments within delegated authority and established approval procedures.
Monitor funding requirements and the use of company funds.
Identify potential cash shortfalls and recommend appropriate actions.
Design, implement, and improve financial controls, standard operating procedures, and approval matrices.
Conduct periodic reviews of finance processes to identify control gaps, errors, and opportunities for improvement.
Maintain appropriate segregation of duties and clear documentation across financial operations.
Coordinate corrective actions and follow up on audit findings.
Safeguard company assets and maintain the confidentiality of financial information.
Supervise, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team, including senior finance staff.
Set clear responsibilities, performance targets, and reporting deadlines.
Review team performance and provide coaching on reporting accuracy, tax compliance, and operational efficiency.
Allocate workloads and ensure adequate coverage during financial closing, audits, and tax filing periods.
Promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Serve as the primary finance contact for external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and relevant regulatory bodies.
Coordinate audit schedules, information requests, and the resolution of outstanding matters.
Partner with HR, Sales, and other departments to align financial processes with operational needs.
Advise management on financial risks, cost optimization, and business performance.
Improve accounting workflows, reporting templates, and the use of Accurate accounting software.
Lead or support automation initiatives for reconciliations, reporting, and tax administration.
Oversee system and workflow changes involving Coretax DJP, e-Faktur where applicable, and related reporting tools.
Ensure system changes preserve data accuracy, access controls, and audit trails.
Typically 8–12 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, and taxation, including at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Demonstrated experience managing financial reporting, closing activities, budgeting, cash flow, and Indonesian tax compliance.
Experience coordinating external audits and handling tax audits or reviews.
Brevet A and B certifications are preferred.
CPSAK, Chartered Accountant (CA), or an equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
Accounting: Strong knowledge of applicable SAK/PSAK, with exposure to IFRS.
Taxation: Strong practical and supervisory knowledge of Indonesian taxation, corporate tax returns, tax reconciliations, and DJP audit processes.
Systems: Proficiency in Accurate, Coretax DJP, applicable e-Faktur workflows, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
Financial management: Strong budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial modeling, profitability analysis, and cost-control skills.
Leadership: Ability to manage teams, coach performance, delegate effectively, and collaborate across departments.
Communication: Ability to explain financial information clearly and work effectively with management, auditors, consultants, and regulators.
Professional judgment: Strong analytical thinking, integrity, discretion, and accountability.
Organization: Ability to manage competing priorities and meet reporting and statutory deadlines.
