Job summary

PT InfraCom Technology (ICT) seeks a Managed Service Engineer – Virtualization (Huawei DCS) to support daily virtualization and backup operations. You will monitor system health, handle first-level incidents, and ensure service availability per SLAs.

Responsibilities include dashboard monitoring, basic troubleshooting, ticket triage, and preparing operational reports. A Bachelor’s degree and 1 year in IT operations are required, with Linux and virtualization knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in IT Operations or related role.
• Experience monitoring Linux-based systems.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies and environments.
• Experience with Huawei DCS preferred.
• Understanding of backup and recovery operations.
• Familiarity with incident management and ticketing systems.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Willing to work in a shift-based environment if required.

• Provide first-level support for incidents and service requests.
• Perform basic troubleshooting, including service restarts, log checks, and failed backup job retries.
• Conduct ticket triage and elevate unresolved issues to Level 2 support within SLA requirements.
• Prepare operational reports, including backup success rates and VM status reports.
• Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) and runbooks for routine operational activities.
• Perform basic user access management, including password resets and access provisioning based on approved requests.
• Implement minor patches and updates according to maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of operational activities and incidents.

Experience with Huawei DCS (Data Center Solution) is preferred.

Understanding of backup and recovery operations.

Familiarity with incident management and ticketing systems.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
