Job summary

RGF HR Agent Indonesia represents a Japanese manufacturing company seeking a Maintenance Assistant Manager (Injection & stamping) to lead the maintenance team and drive reliability in a high-volume production environment.

You will translate business objectives into maintenance plans, oversee daily activities, investigate tooling issues, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional collaboration across Production, Engineering, and Quality.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of maintenance, mold, dies, or related technical experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to set departmental objectives and annual work plans with clear actions.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate the maintenance team with coaching and technical guidance.
• Translate business objectives into annual maintenance plans with targets.
• Oversee daily maintenance activities ensuring safety and production alignment.
• Investigate tooling/die issues, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives for reliability and uptime.

• Monitor progress and ensure action items are completed on time.
• Contribute to preventive maintenance strategies and long-term programs.

Maintenance Assistant Manager (Injection & stamping, 134077)

Our client is a Japanese Manufacture (Injection & Stamping) Company. Currently, they are looking for Maintenance Asst. Manager.

Job Responsibilities

Manage and motivate the maintenance team by providing coaching, technical guidance, and opportunities for continuous skills development

Drive departmental performance by translating business objectives into annual maintenance plans, priorities, and measurable targets

Oversee day-to-day maintenance activities and ensure that operations are carried out efficiently, safely, and in line with production requirements

Investigate tooling and die-related issues, identify potential root causes, and lead the implementation of effective corrective and preventive measures

Initiate and support continuous improvement and Kaizen projects aimed at enhancing equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and improving maintenance efficiency

Work collaboratively with Production, Engineering, Quality, and other relevant functions to address equipment, tooling, and operational challenges

Monitor the progress and effectiveness of maintenance initiatives and ensure that agreed corrective actions are implemented within the required timeline

Contribute to the development of preventive maintenance strategies and long-term improvement programs to support stable and efficient manufacturing operations

Job Requirements

Associate degree (D3) preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Maintenance, Mold, Dies, or a related technical function within the manufacturing industry

Strong ability to develop departmental objectives, annual work plans, and actionable strategies to support business and operational goals

Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and other departments
