Job summary

PT Ebara Indonesia is seeking an Assistant Manager Machining & Maintenance to lead shop floor operations, drive KPI attainment, and oversee continuous improvement initiatives. You will manage manpower and monitor equipment performance while solving complex problems and developing team members to achieve department targets.

The role focuses on maintaining high SQCD standards, process knowledge, and strong leadership in a Japan multinational environment established since 1980 in Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Minimum D3 Engineering
• 8-10 years of experience in Machining, Maintenance Engineering, or Manufacturing
• Experience as Manufacturing Manager/Assistant Manager or Maintenance Manager/Assistant Manager is preferred
• Good knowledge of Machining and Maintenance processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Knowledge of SQCD, KPI management, and continuous improvement

Job description

As an Assistant Manager Machining & Maintenance, you will play an important role in ensuring effective shop floor operations, equipment performance, continuous improvement, and achievement of departmental targets through strong leadership and team development.

Manage Machining & Maintenance operations and shop floor activities based on SQCD.

Set, monitor, and control departmental KPIs.

Lead SQCD and continuous improvement activities.

Manage and control manpower/resources in Machining & Maintenance.

Monitor production and equipment performance.

Identify and solve operational and technical problems.

Develop and supervise team members to achieve department targets.

Requirements

Minimum D3 Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related field.

Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Machining, Maintenance Engineering, or Manufacturing.

Experience as Manufacturing Manager/Assistant Manager or Maintenance Manager/Assistant Manager is preferred.

Good knowledge of Machining and Maintenance processes.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Knowledge of SQCD, KPI management, and continuous improvement.
