Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking a proactive professional to support business development and project tender activities in Jakarta. You will identify opportunities, build client relationships, and coordinate with engineering, procurement, and internal teams to craft competitive proposals.

The role requires 1 year of related experience, strong communication and analytical skills, and readiness to travel for site visits and client meetings. This is a full-time position based in Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in project development, business development, tender management, construction, or related field.
• Familiar with tender processes, project administration, and technical documentation.
• Able to read engineering drawings and technical specifications is a plus.
• Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel for site visits and client meetings when required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and monitor new project opportunities from existing and prospective clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while managing the company and project database.
• Prepare company profiles, pre-qualification documents, and complete tender submissions, including administrative, technical, and commercial documents.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and other internal teams to develop competitive project proposals.
• Participate in site visits, pre-bid meetings, tender clarification sessions, bidding, and commercial negotiations.
• Monitor tender progress, maintain project documentation, and prepare periodic reports.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support business development initiatives.
