Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking a Sales & Logistics Coordinator in Samarinda to help drive revenue by presenting rates, schedules and services to customers. You will coordinate forwarding and shipping activities and contribute to a growing logistics network across Indonesia.

The role requires a minimum bachelor degree and at least 1 year of experience in Sales/Marketing, forwarding, or shipping, along with strong English communication, teamwork, and resilience under pressure.

Qualifications

Minimum bachelor degree from a reputable university.
At least 1 year of experience in Sales/Marketing.
1 year experience in Forwarding, Logistics or Shipping preferred.
Good communication skills in English, written and spoken.
Honest, disciplined and able to work in a team.
Able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
Energetic, creative and highly motivated.

Responsibilities

Achieve revenue targets by providing rates, stock, equipment and schedules to customers.
Coordinate related to marketplace information and conditions.
Deliver products to customers, including sales, service, and upselling/cross-selling.
Provide reports on marketing activities related to sales and volume.
Maintain and improve the Integrated Management System and risk controls.
Encourage team commitment to IMS requirements.
Participate in investigations of accidents or unsafe actions or conditions with accurate reporting.
Support information security measures to protect company assets.
