Job summary

This role is for a major steel manufacturing company operating in Indonesia, centered in the Cikarang–Bekasi area in West Java. You will lead inbound and outbound logistics, oversee warehouse operations, and coordinate with production, procurement, and sales to keep goods flowing smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in logistics or supply chain, hands-on experience with high-volume materials, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), and a proven record of cost efficiency and team leadership in

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Management or Industrial Engineering.
8–10 years in logistics or supply chain.
Experience managing warehouse operations.
Transportation & distribution experience (trucking, 3PL).
Experience with high-volume or bulky materials (steel).
Experience in manufacturing industries (steel/auto/heavy industry).
Familiar with ERP (SAP/Oracle).
Strong analytical skills and cost-efficiency focus.
Experience leading teams.

Responsibilities

Oversee inbound and outbound logistics for raw materials and finished goods.
Manage warehouse operations including storage, stock accuracy, layout, and safety.
Coordinate with production, procurement, and sales to ensure smooth material flow.
Monitor inventory levels and prevent overstock or shortages.
Ensure on-time delivery and resolve delays or issues.
Control logistics costs and improve overall efficiency.
Supervise and guide supervisors, staff, and operators.
Ensure operations comply with SOPs, safety, and regulations.
