The role focuses on optimizing inventory, space utilization, and coordinating with carriers to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery to retail locations. You will implement WMS and drive improvements across transportation management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics management, preferably in retail or supermarket operations.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, transportation management, and inventory control.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
• Ensure effective space utilization and manage warehouse layout to improve efficiency.
• Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and managing stock movements.
• Monitor stock levels, coordinate replenishment, and reduce stockouts or excess inventory.
• Manage transportation logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to retail locations.
• Coordinate with third-party carriers, negotiate freight contracts, and optimize delivery routes.
