Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience as a Logistics Manager.
• Strong hands-on background in freight forwarding and warehousing operations.
• In-depth understanding of customs regulations, INCOTERMS, and international import/export procedures.
• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Outstanding negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven leadership ability to train and motivate warehouse and logistics teams.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) to effectively communicate with international forwarders and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end international and domestic freight forwarding operations (Sea, Air, and Land).
• Coordinate import/export documentation and manage customs clearance processes.
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations.
• Direct and optimize daily warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, inventory management, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Maximize space utilization and maintain high safety and security standards.
• Negotiate rates and build relationships with freight forwarders, shipping lines, brokers, and 3PLs.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock takes and cycle counts.
• Ensure high inventory accuracy using WMS.
• Analyze supply chain workflows to identify bottlenecks and implement improvements.
• Reduce logistics costs and transit times while improving warehouse efficiency.

• Coordinate import/export documentation and manage customs clearance processes
• Ensure strict compliance with international shipping regulations
• Direct and optimize daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, inventory management, picking, packing, and dispatch
• Ensure maximum space utilization and maintain high standards of safety and security
• Negotiate rates and build strong relationships with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and Third-Party Logistics (3PL) providers
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate regular stock takes and cycle counts
