Job summary

Pandai Gadai is seeking a Law Graduate with 2–4 years of litigation experience to support our legal and compliance efforts in Indonesia. The role involves handling police summons, preparing responses, attending proceedings, and coordinating with branch staff.

You will draft formal letters, manage internal investigations with HR and Risk, monitor KUHAP and UU P2SK regulations, liaise with external counsel, and help update SOPs and training for non-legal staff.

Qualifications

• Law graduate with 2–4 years of experience in litigation.
• Solid understanding of Indonesian criminal procedure and financial services regulations.
• Experience handling police investigations, summons, or law enforcement correspondence is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical skills to assess litigation risk and recommend action plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist in handling police summons and information requests involving pawned or collateral goods, including preparing responses and coordinating with branch staff.
• Prepare and file police reports, including evidence packs and witness preparation, and follow through on case progress with investigators.
• Handle customer and third-party disputes, including claims related to the business of the company.
• Draft formal legal correspondence, including demand letters (somasi) and objections (surat keberatan).
• Support internal investigations with HR, Risk, and Internal Audit teams.
• Maintain and update the internal case tracking system with risk assessments and action plans for ongoing litigation.
