Job summary

You will file police reports, manage evidence packs and witness preparation, support internal investigations with HR, Risk and Internal Audit, maintain case tracking, and help develop training materials for non-legal staff, with occasional travel to expansion regions.

Qualifications

• Law degree and admission to practice (PERADI preferred).
• 2–4 years of litigation experience in private practice or in-house, with exposure to criminal procedure and financial services sectors.
• Experience handling police investigations, summons, or law enforcement correspondence is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of Indonesian criminal procedure (KUHAP), civil litigation processes, and related regulations (UU P2SK and OJK rules).
• Strong analytical skills to assess litigation risk and propose action plans.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple case files.
• Good communication with non-legal staff, external counsel, and law enforcement.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to branch locations, including expansion regions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in handling police summons and information requests, prepare responses, attend proceedings when required, and coordinate with branch staff.
• Prepare and file police reports, including evidence packs, chronologies, and witness preparation, and follow through with investigators.
• Handle customer and third-party disputes, including claims related to the business.
• Draft formal legal correspondence (demands, objections, and responses) to law enforcement or third parties.
• Support internal investigations with HR, Risk, and Internal Audit teams.
• Maintain and update the internal case tracking system with risk assessments and action plans.
• Develop and update compliance training materials and SOPs for non-legal staff.
• Monitor regulatory developments (UU P2SK, POJKs, KUHAP, KUHP) and flag impacts.
• Support litigation risk assessments for new/existing branches.
• Prepare internal management reports on active legal matters.
• Liaise with external counsel, notaries, and law enforcement as needed.
