Job summary

PT Mitratama Perkasa, based in Jakarta, seeks an experienced lawyer with 4+ years in legal and contract functions to draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and financing documents for mining and energy projects. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Law from a recognized university.
• Minimum age 25 years; male candidates are preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Legal & Contract, Corporate Legal, or a comparable legal function.
• Strong capability in contract drafting, review, negotiation, and legal risk assessment.
• Good understanding of licensing and regulatory matters related to the mining and/or energy sector.
• Hands-on experience in corporate loan or financing transactions and related legal documentation.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, service agreements, procurement contracts, confidentiality agreements, memoranda of understanding, and other legal documents related to the Company's business activities.
• Provide legal review and advice on corporate, commercial, contract, and operational matters, including identification and mitigation of legal and contractual risks.
• Support corporate financing and loan transactions, including review of facility agreements, security documents, conditions precedent, covenants, amendments, waivers, and related legal documentation.
• Handle corporate legal matters, corporate actions, legal due diligence, corporate records, and coordination with notaries, external counsel, banks, and other professional advisers.
• Monitor and support mining-related and other operational licensing and regulatory compliance requirements relevant to the Company's activities.
• Conduct legal research and monitor regulatory developments affecting mining infrastructure, energy, corporate, financing, and commercial activities.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external parties to ensure contracts and legal deliverables are completed accurately and within required timelines.
• Maintain proper legal documentation, contract records, permits, approvals, and supporting corporate documents.
