Job summary

PT Magnet Solusi Integra, a leading multinational tobacco manufacturer based in East Java, seeks an Assistant Production Manager to drive quality, reliability, and team leadership on the production floor. You will plan, execute, and control daily operations, aiming to meet productivity, yield, and quality targets across large teams.

The role requires a results-oriented leader with strong analytical skills and experience in manufacturing KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a production/manufacturing managerial role, including at least 3 years in a Senior Supervisor or Middle Manager level.
• Experience in production planning, manpower, yield, quality, productivity, and efficiency management.

Responsibilities

• Plan production activities (manpower, yield, quality, productivity, efficiency) to meet targets.
• Lead and manage production teams to execute plans and meet targets.
• Enforce discipline, accountability, and performance management within the team.
• Collaborate with QA, Engineering, Supply Chain, HR to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor KPIs (productivity, efficiency, yield, WIP, quality) and report to management.
• Identify issues and drive problem solving and decision making.
• Drive continuous improvement via Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Coach and develop teams based on performance evaluations.
