Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Production Manager or similar in cigarette manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management in a cigarette factory.
• Proven leadership and ability to manage teams; quality control and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations and ensure processes run smoothly and efficiently.
• Plan and schedule production activities to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines.
• Manage, supervise, and develop production team members, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Monitor production quality standards and implement corrective actions to address deviations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across the production facility.
• Optimise production workflows and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate with procurement, quality assurance, and logistics to ensure seamless operations.
• Conduct regular equipment maintenance checks and manage maintenance schedules.
• Promote a strong safety culture within the production environment.
