Job summary

TRIPATRA in Batam seeks an experienced Structural Supervisor to oversee fabrication, assembly and erection activities, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, project specifications and quality standards.

You will coordinate structural crews and subcontractors, monitor progress, manage manpower and equipment, and liaise with Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, and project teams to resolve issues and keep the project on schedule. Strong safety leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in steel structure construction with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in modular construction, fabrication workshop supervision, steel structure fabrication and erection.
• Strong knowledge of structural fabrication processes, assembly methods, lifting operations and erection sequences.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, fabrication drawings, shop drawings and erection drawings.
• Good understanding of QA/QC, inspection procedures and applicable construction codes and standards.
• Sound knowledge of HSE requirements in workshop and construction site environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise structural fabrication, assembly, and erection activities to ensure compliance with drawings, project specs and quality standards.
• Oversee workshop and site operations to ensure work is safe, efficient, and on schedule.
• Coordinate and supervise structural crews, subcontractors, and stakeholders for smooth project execution.
• Monitor fabrication and erection progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize delays.
• Ensure availability of manpower, materials, tools, and equipment for structural activities.
• Conduct inspections to verify fabrication and erection work meets quality standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, and Project teams to resolve technical and operational issues.
