Job summary

Saipem Indonesia is seeking a senior Structural Engineer to lead a field engineering team in EPCI projects. You will manage leadership of the structural team, coordinate with discipline leaders and engineering center, and resolve drawing queries to ensure fabrication readiness in offshore or onshore environments.

The role requires 10-15 years of experience, advanced knowledge of structural codes, familiarity with fabrication and installation, and strong leadership capabilities.

How can you support us? Here are below your responsibilities:

1. Manage leadership of structural field engineering team consisting of engineers & designers.
2. Liaise with peer counterpart from Company side with prior consent of Field Engineering Manager.
3. Manage coordination and interface with other discipline’s field engineering team leaders.
4. Close coordination with, and report to Field Engineering Manager.
5. Provide clarification for any yard queries in interpretation of drawings
6. Provide clarification for any inconsistencies found in engineering drawings.
7. Provide engineering solution/proposal to yard fabrication issues (if any), or to involve engineering center if required.
8. Ensure all changes are documented through formal queries and provide evaluation and approval to the queries in coordination with engineering center.
9. Provide fabrication status to project team (in case of changes of design).

What are we looking for?

1. Minimum 10-15 years of working experience as Structural Engineer in EPCI or related fields
2. Advanced knowledge of Structural Engineering design criteria, methods and workflows from conceptual phase up to site engineering phase.
3. Familiarity with fabrication and installation techniques.
4. User level knowledge of SACS software.
5. Advanced knowledge of main International structural standards, codes and regulations.
6. Advanced capability in project resource leadership, coordination, planning and scheduling.
7. Capability to handle Subcontractor management and control.
