Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with 7+ years of experience in marine structures to join our Jakarta office. You will conduct structural analysis, prepare design calculations and technical reports, and review drawings while ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Ocean Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience, preferably in structural design of marine structures.
• Proven expertise in structural analysis and design software, particularly STAAD Pro.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and reviewing drawings.
• Solid understanding of fundamental structural engineering principles.
• Familiarity with common structural materials (steel, concrete, etc.).
• Ability to apply relevant design codes and standards effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• SKK Ahli Madya Dermaga is preferred.

• Participate in site visits for data collection, inspections, or addressing construction queries as needed.
• Review vendor submissions and shop drawings for structural integrity.
• Contribute to the development of project proposals and technical documentation.
• Potentially provide guidance or mentorship to junior engineers.
