Job summary

Saipem is seeking a Material Analyst for our Indonesian operations. You will support bid activities, plan production, and manage materials to align with project schedules and drawings.

The role requires coordinating with the Production Planning and Control team to ensure material availability and efficient production flow. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in oil & gas, with fabrication yard experience, and are able to work within a fast-paced, safety-focused environment on a 12-month contract.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in oil & gas, preferably in fabrication yards.
• Experience with material planning, production scheduling and resource management.
• Familiarity with fabrication yard operations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Support bid activities and plan production according to project schedule and material availability.
• Manage project materials, production feed and yard workload within Production Planning and Control.
• Prepare and estimate feasible Work Packs for production and coordinate with projects.

Job Title: Material Analyst

Job Description:

Mission

• Support bid activities, prioritize arrival of material, analyse yields and fabrication methods and plan production activities according to project schedule and availability of drawings, materials and personnel

Tasks

• Support bid activities, plan production activities according to project schedule and availability of drawings, materials and personnel. Validate and analyse production feedback relevant to spent hours. Set up and maintain cumulative yard workload by resource status, consolidating current and incoming projects
• Manage project materials, production feed and production plan within Production Planning and Control team
• Match and reserve daily Project MTO income
• Prevent Highlight material lack during Project execution
• Release Prepare and estimate feasible Work Packs to production
• Schedule available Work Packs with due consideration to Resources workload and Projects priorities
• Update operative schedule (single project or combined projects)
• Prepare a 4 or 6 Weeks Look Ahead schedule considering operative constraints
• Analyse and prepare the workload report of services, production equipment and vehicles. Bid bulletins shall be prepared at request
• Set up and maintain Fabrication databases (Material Utilization Factors, Productivity)
• Set up and maintain cumulative yard workload by Resource status, consolidating current and incoming projects
• Validate and analyse Production feedback relevant to progress, productivity, spent hours and materials, assuring Traceability and final Reconciliation
• Support bidding activities, Projects set-up and yard Continuous Improvement
• Calculate Project Production Progress and check the availability of personnel in yard
• Coordinate the Weekly Production meeting
• Contribute to project close out report
