Job summary

Humana International in Indonesia seeks a Senior Mechanical/Electrical Engineer to lead planning, development, and support for gas turbine component repairs, ensuring quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction throughout the repair lifecycle.

You will specify repair paths, design procedures, coordinate projects, optimize costs, and guide a regional team while maintaining high standards and effective communication in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Senior role with electrical and/or mechanical rotating equipment services (Turbo or Electro-Mechanical) experience.
• Expertise in gas turbine repair.
• Strong communication in English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel and manage regional teams.

Responsibilities

• Examine gas turbine components and assess repairability.
• Specify repair path and draft procedures.
• Apply new technologies to repair procedures.
• Prepare preliminary costings for estimators and Sales.
• Coordinate repair projects across production, process, sales, development engineering, quality control, operators and other areas.
• Project monitoring with regard to both time and use of resources.
• Examine order conditions and enter material details in the information system.
• Developing tools.
• Providing technical support for production orders and solving production problems.
• Providing support for outsourcing and drafting technical specifications.
• Ensuring proper documentation of executed orders (including work specifications, production calculations, drawings and other specifications).
• Maintaining repair procedures; Generating customer reports; Ensuring that the desired quality is achieved.

Responsible for planning, developing, and supporting the repair of gas turbine components through technical assessment, repair process design, project coordination, cost and resource optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives, while ensuring quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction throughout the repair lifecycle

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Examining gas turbine components and repair specifications agreed with the customer, and assessing repairability on this basis;
• Specifying the repair path and drafting a work procedure and method in accordance with technical specifications;
• Applying technologies (including new technologies) to repair procedures;
• Preparing preliminary costings and prices for cost estimators and Sales;
• Making constructive contributions to repair projects, which involves production, process, sales, development engineering, quality control, operators and other areas;
• Project monitoring with regard to both time and use of resources.
• Examining order conditions and entering material details in the information system;
• Developing tools;
• Providing technical support for production orders and solving production problems;
• Providing support for outsourcing and drafting technical specifications;
• Ensuring proper documentation of executed orders (including work specifications, production calculations, drawings and other specifications);

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical
• Holding a Senior position involving electrical and, or mechanical rotating equipment services (preferably Turbo or Electro-Mechanical) is a must
• Expertise in the repair of gas turbines
• Good communication skills including written and spoken English
