Job summary

PT. Buana Jaya Suplindo in Indonesia is seeking a Heavy-Duty Oil & Gas Turbine Maintenance Technician to install and maintain turbines at customer sites, ensuring adherence to contractual requirements and site procedures.

The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and record-keeping of all activities at customer locations. Willingness to travel and good English are advantageous for this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum D3 engineering background in Mechanical.
• General knowledge of mechanical and Heavy Duty Gas Turbine maintenance.
• Familiar with tools, hand tools, and special tools.
• Familiar with technical drawings, symbols and legend, P&ID diagrams.
• Familiar with safety code and procedure for startup and commissioning.
• Willing to travel for business visits.
• Good command of English (spoken and written) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Performing minor/major maintenance of equipment following the Turbomachinery & Process Solution Service Site Quality Check Lists and procedures.
• Providing records of all activities accomplished at the Customer Site to the Turbomachinery & Process Solution Supervisor promotes and maintains relations.
• Executing all required responsibilities safely by following all Turbomachinery & Process Solution Service applicable processes and procedures.
• Providing significant troubleshooting support on the equipment under maintenance and/or installation in the Field.

About the role

The Heavy-Duty Oil & Gas Turbine role will contribute to the management of site activities including planning, organizing, integrating as required to complete the work scope according to contractual requirements. Will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of great complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning at customer power generating facilities. Will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of Oil & Gas Turbines.

About you
