Job summary
bp is seeking a Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer to deliver specialist support for gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors, pumps and auxiliaries. You will lead failure investigations, develop robust maintenance strategies, and ensure safe, reliable plant operation across projects.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
- At least 15 years in major oil & gas projects/operations; gas-turbine and LNG experience preferred.
- Experience applying API, ISO, ANSI and NFPA standards for rotating equipment.
- Design and operating experience for gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors, pumps and electric motors.
- Experience with dry-gas seals, vibration analysis, condition monitoring and rotating auxiliaries.
Responsibilities
- Provide rotating equipment expertise for safe, reliable operation and lifecycle stewardship.
- Lead or support risk assessments, hazard reviews and corrective actions.
- Provide technical assurance for Management of Change and major modifications.
- Develop maintenance strategies, intervals and SAP PM build.
- Interpret vibration data and condition monitoring results to drive reliability improvements.
- Support turnarounds, outages, and field execution with technical input.
