Job summary

KOPIKINA INDONESIA is seeking an experienced Lead Barista to supervise and mentor a team of baristas, ensuring consistent beverage quality and exceptional guest service in our Jakarta cafe. You will manage shift schedules, inventory, equipment maintenance, and training on techniques, recipes, and seasonal menus, while upholding health and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires 3-5 years in barista work with at least 1 year in a leadership position, plus strong

Qualifications

3–5 years as a barista, with 1 year in leadership or supervisory role.
Expert knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso equipment.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Stand long periods, lift up to 25 lbs in a fast-paced environment.
Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Lead and train a team of baristas, providing guidance on techniques and customer service.
Oversee inventory of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and supplies; ensure timely restocking.
Ensure adherence to food safety and health regulations; maintain cleanliness of the bar.
Collaborate on training and development for baristas on new offerings and seasonal menus.
Manage opening/closing duties and barista scheduling for peak hours.
Maintain and report on equipment maintenance; ensure machines are clean and functional.
