Job summary

PT Matahari Putra Prima Tbk in Balaraja, Banten is seeking a Land Transport Assistant Manager to lead end-to-end land transportation operations, ensuring timely deliveries and cost efficiency while coordinating with internal teams and trucking partners.

You will source, evaluate, negotiate, onboard vendors, monitor performance and costs, and drive continuous improvements in routing and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in land transportation, trucking, or logistics.
• Preferably from FMCG, Logistics, Transportation, Delivery and related industries.
• Proven experience in vendor sourcing, assessment, negotiation, and performance management.
• Strong network with trucking vendors.
• Strong vendor relationship management and coordination skills.
• Fast-paced, agile, and able to work in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to be based in Balaraja, Banten and mobile to designated area.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end land transportation operations to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective deliveries.
• Develop and manage trucking vendor partnerships to support operational excellence and drive continuous performance improvement.
• Source, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard vendors based on business needs.
• Monitor vendor performance, service quality, and transportation costs and ensure its compliance.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth transportation operations.
• Analyze transportation performance and recommend operational improvements.
