Job summary

PT Matahari Putra Prima Tbk (MPPA) seeks a Land Transport Assistant Manager in Balaraja to oversee end-to-end land transportation operations, develop trucking vendor partnerships, and ensure timely, cost-efficient deliveries. You will source and onboard vendors, monitor performance, and coordinate with internal teams for seamless transport operations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management, 5+ years in the field, and a strong vendor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in land transportation, trucking, or logistics.
• Preferably FMCG, Logistics, Transportation, Delivery or related industries.
• Proven experience in vendor sourcing, assessment, negotiation, and performance management.
• Strong network with trucking vendors and vendor relationship management.
• Fast-paced, agile, and able to work in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to be based in Balaraja and mobile to designated area.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end land transportation operations to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective deliveries.
• Develop and manage trucking vendor partnerships to support operational excellence.
• Source, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard vendors based on business needs.
• Monitor vendor performance, service quality, and transportation costs and ensure its compliance.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth transportation operations.
• Analyze transportation performance and recommend operational improvements.
