Job summary

Pancaran Group in Balikpapan is hiring a Vendor Management Officer to source, select and manage vendors for spare parts (trucks and heavy equipment) and non-spare parts. You will evaluate vendor performance, monitor orders through delivery, and serve as the liaison between internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth purchasing and timely delivery.

This role requires a D3 qualification, at least three years in vendor management, strong negotiation skills, and a willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Minimum D3 qualification in any discipline.
• Minimum 3 years experience in vendor management or purchasing spare parts for trucks and heavy equipment.
• Familiar with material and spare part specifications.
• Valid driving licence (SIM A).
• Experience sourcing vendors for site requirements (spare parts and non-spare parts).
• Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills (mandatory).
• Preferred: experience handling delivery and logistics (ekspedisi).
• Willing to work mobile, including monitoring vendor work and lead times.

Responsibilities

• Search and select vendors for spare parts (trucks and heavy equipment) and non-spare parts
• Map material requirements and supply needs for plant sites
• Assess, evaluate, and grade vendor performance
• Monitor vendor orders through to completion of delivery process
• Act as liaison between internal and external stakeholders (vendors, customers) to ensure smooth purchasing and delivery processes
