Job summary

Yogyakarta Marriott is seeking a Learning & Development Manager to drive the company values and ensure training aligns with the organization's mission and vision. You will partner with the property leadership team to identify development needs and implement effective programs covering product knowledge, philosophy, customer service, and leadership skills.

The role involves conducting needs assessments, designing and delivering both custom and corporate trainings, and evaluating training outcomes

Qualifications

• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in the human resources or related professional area; certified trainer.
• 4-year bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; certified trainer; no work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Administering Employee Training Programs: Promotes and informs employees about all training programs; displays leadership in guest hospitality; helps employees identify behaviors that contribute to service excellence; ensures ongoing training to meet guest expectations; uses effective training methods; meets with training cadre; observes service behaviors and provides feedback.
• Evaluating Training Programs Effectiveness: Monitors enrollment and attendance; meets with participants to assess progress; partners with operational leaders to assess skills; reviews guest satisfaction data; measures transfer of learning.
• Developing Training Program Plans and Budgets: Ensures training activities align with mission and vision; identifies performance gaps and develops training to improve performance; aligns programs to impact business indicators; drives brand values.
• Managing Training Budgets: Participates in development of training budget; manages budget in alignment with HR and property financial goals; controls expenses; uses P-card when appropriate.

Education
