Job summary

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support professional to join our team at PT. Biofactory Teknika Uama' in Batam, Riau Islands. As an IT Support specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our company's technology infrastructure and providing exceptional technical assistance to our users.

What you'll be doing

Provide first-line technical support and troubleshooting for a variety of hardware and software issues reported by our employees

Perform system maintenance, installations, and upgrades to ensure the optimal performance of our IT systems

Manage and maintain the company's server infrastructure, including monitoring, backups, and security

Assist with the implementation and configuration of new software and technology solutions

Respond to and resolve user inquiries and support requests in a timely and efficient manner

Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and resolve complex technical problems

Maintain detailed documentation and records of all IT-related activities and incidents

What we're looking for

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar IT support role, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Strong technical skills and knowledge of hardware, software, and networking technologies

Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to effectively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Solid understanding of operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and macOS

Proficiency in using remote support tools, ticketing systems, and other IT management software

Strong communication and customer service skills to provide effective support to end-users

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of the IT infrastructure
