Job summary

Traveloka is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to ensure the health, visibility, and integrity of its internal IT environment. You will own asset lifecycles, analyze logs for reliability, and drive automated routines to keep systems compliant and efficient.

You will work hands‑on in a fast‑paced, regional setting, collaborating across IT teams to harden networks, monitor endpoints, and streamline incident response. This role requires practical scripting skills and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in IT operations, system administration, or technical support.
• Proven experience managing IT Asset Management (ITAM) systems, inventory tracking, hardware/software lifecycle management, and compliance auditing.
• Demonstrated ability to read, analyze, and correlate logs to diagnose issues and trace operational events.
• Practical ability to write simple scripts (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) to automate manual data collection or routine administrative tasks.
• Familiarity with basic endpoint management tools (e.g., Intune, Jamf) and cloud identity directories (e.g., Entra ID, Okta, Google Workspace).
• Understanding of basic security concepts, least privilege access, and audit trail requirements.
• Clear verbal and written English communication skills to document processes and collaborate across regional teams.
• Degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Asset Management Ownership: Manage the end‑to‑end lifecycle of hardware and software assets across the regional fleet—tracking allocation, compliance, refresh cycles, and decommissioning.
• Log Analysis & Monitoring: Review, parse, and analyze system and endpoint logs to identify anomalies, troubleshoot root causes, and catch operational issues early.
• Basic Automation: Write simple scripts to automate repetitive daily tasks, such as asset data syncing, report generation, or basic system configuration tasks.
• Incident Resolution: Investigate and resolve operational tickets and security log alerts, working across endpoint and identity tools to ensure seamless fixes.
• Process & Compliance Optimization: Audit asset inventory regularly against compliance policies and log data to eliminate coverage gaps or untracked devices.
• Documentation: Maintain clear asset inventories, logging procedures, and basic operational runbooks for the team.
