PT Anugrah Karunia Perkasa Abadi is seeking a Network Operations Center (NOC) professional to monitor network infrastructure around the clock, detect incidents, perform initial troubleshooting, and escalate as needed. You will generate regular reports and contribute to SLA compliance.
The role requires shift readiness, attention to detail, and foundational network knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, switching) with familiarity in common monitoring tools.
This is a Network Operations Center (NOC) role focused on 24-hour network monitoring, incident detection, initial troubleshooting, reporting, and escalation to authorized parties as needed, along with regular reporting. The position requires shift-based work readiness and high attention to detail.
Key responsibilities
Monitor performance and status of all network infrastructure and company systems continuously through dashboards and monitoring tools
Oversee alerts/alarms, service availability, connectivity, data traffic, and network device conditions regularly and in real-time
Perform periodic system health checks, service availability verification, and preventive monitoring before complaints occur
Detect, diagnose, and handle first-level network and system incidents quickly according to procedures
Record, document, and track every incident/disruption in the work ticket system from start to completion
Perform initial troubleshooting: verify connections, check routes, attempt recovery according to work guidelines
Escalate complex or unresolved incidents to advanced technical teams or vendors according to procedures and SLA timeframes
Coordinate incident resolution with other technical teams, internet service providers, and relevant parties
Create daily/weekly/monthly reports on network condition, incident count, service availability (uptime), and SLA compliance
Identify recurring issues and propose preventive steps and improvements to leadership to prevent similar problems
About you
Minimum education: SMK / D3 / S1 in Computer Engineering & Networks (TKJ), Information Technology, Information Systems, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field
Minimum 1 year work experience in related field; recent graduates with good understanding of network concepts are welcome to apply
Experience in NOC, ISP, or data center is a significant advantage
Related certifications are an advantage: CCNA, MikroTik Certified, CompTIA Network+, Computer Networks
Master basic computer network concepts: TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, switching, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewall, WAN/LAN
Understand how network devices work: router, switch, firewall (Cisco, MikroTik, etc.)
Familiar with network monitoring tools: Zabbix, PRTG, Nagios, Cacti, The Dude, or similar
Understand SLA concepts, incident management, and incident escalation processes
Able to perform initial diagnosis and handle network disruptions systematically
Understand basic Windows and Linux operating systems and basic network commands (ping, traceroute, etc.)
