Job summary

PT. Varnion Technology Semesta in Denpasar, Bali, seeks an experienced Network Engineer to manage daily operations, troubleshoot, and maintain core and distribution networks for both infrastructure and client environments.

You will handle routing/switch configurations, work with BGP/OSPF, and monitor networks via NMS, providing timely updates and resolving alarms. A CCNA/MTCNA or equivalent cert is preferred and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience in routing and switching.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc.).
• Familiar with Mikrotik devices and other switch brands.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Daily operation of network.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, install and configure network devices for infrastructure or customers.
• Handle Core and Distribution Network.
• Respond to emails and alarms on group chat.
• Respond to alarms on the Network Monitoring System and resolve issues.
• Monitor all connections (private and public); interconnect Datacenter / Local Loop and BGP Internet.
• Generate daily reports from the NMS on resolved cases.

• Handling Core Network and Distribution Network


• Response email and alarm alert on group chat


• Response alarm on Network monitoring system and resolved the alarm/problem


• Monitoring all connection (private & public connection) running properly; connection between network devices, connection between Datacenter/ Local Loop,and BGP Internet connection


• Monitoring device network running on NMS - Daily report via tools based on incoming resolved case.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field


• Minimum 1 Year Experience - Have Excellent Knowledge in routing and switch technology


• Have strong knowledge Routing Protocol (BGP, OSPF, and etc)


• Have strong knowledge on various Switch device plaftorm.


• Have good concept for OSI End-to-End Communication Layer & TCP 3-way handshake flow


• Familiar with Mikrotik devices and any other switch devices brand


• MTCNA or CCNA Certified preferred


• Having Excellent Communication Skill (verbal and written)


• Possess strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
