Job summary

ESA Sampoerna Group is seeking an IT Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology, documenting user requirements and process flows. You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects align with strategic objectives and deliverables.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, mapping current and future processes, analyzing data, managing stakeholders, and leading UAT to verify solutions meet business needs before deployment. Position based at Surabaya head office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, economy or finance.
• Minimum 5 years of solid experience in a similar role.
• Familiarity with process modeling tools (Visio, Draw.io) and agile project software (Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with data visualization/reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Understanding of SDLC and methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Willing to be placed at Head Office - Surabaya.

Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering: translate business needs into clear, actionable functional specs and user stories for technical teams.
• Process Optimization: map current processes and design optimized future-state workflows to remove bottlenecks.
• Data Analysis: analyze complex data sets to support strategic decision-making and measure project success.
• Stakeholder Management: facilitate workshops and align between department heads, product owners and IT developers.
• Testing & Validation: lead UAT to ensure features and IT systems meet defined business requirements prior to deployment.
