Job summary

PT Ultra Sakti in Jakarta is seeking a Business Analyst to gather and translate business requirements into effective IT solutions and to bridge between business users and IT teams throughout development projects.

The role focuses on documenting BRD/FRD, analyzing processes, and supporting UAT, with strong emphasis on communication, stakeholder management, and proficiency with SQL, Jira, Confluence and diagramming tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, IT Business Analyst, System Analyst, or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of business process analysis, requirement gathering, gap analysis, and SDLC.
• Experience working with business users and IT/development teams in system implementation or enhancement projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with SQL/database, Jira, Confluence, Visio/Draw.io, or similar tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into effective IT solutions.
• Analyze business processes, identify gaps and improvement opportunities, and provide recommendations to enhance system and operational efficiency.
• Act as a bridge between business users and IT/development teams throughout system development, enhancement, and implementation projects.
• Prepare relevant system and business documentation, including BRD/FRD, process flows, user stories, and other requirement documents.
• Coordinate and support UAT, including test scenarios, issue tracking, and follow-up to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Monitor project progress and ensure agreed requirements and system improvements are properly implemented and documented.
