Job summary

Desa Laguna on Pulau Karang Bongkok is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support daily island operations, guest services, and admin processes. You will work closely with the Operational Manager and lead initiatives to minimize environmental impact while ensuring a warm island experience.

The role requires living on the island for 2–3 weeks per month, strong teamwork, and clear communication with staff and guests. Prior hospitality and sustainability experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum D3 diploma in any field; hospitality or business background is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years in hospitality management, with at least 1 year in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of sustainability and regeneration principles.
• Proficient with Office / Google Docs; comfortable with spreadsheets.
• Excellent English communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Hosting guests and coordinating operations team to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Coordinate guest services, housekeeping, food & beverage, and facilities operations.
• Lead sustainability initiatives and work with management toward certification.
• Assist the Operational Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Manage island team scheduling and coordination.
• Handle guest satisfaction reports, inventory, and sustainability metrics.
